I loved collecting baseball cards as a kid. My favorite year/brand of cards is 1989 Topps.

There is something about that time in my life, the popular players of the time, and the card design that just takes me back to being a kid.

I don't do much digital art but this pixel art piece is my long term work in progress. It is a great project to come back to when I need a break from everything else I have going on.

I'm currently cleaning up players pixel-by-pixel and redrawing their arms and shoulder that were cropped by the original card.
